Aliberto's Jr Mexican Food

I ate the whole thing!! Easily 1 lb.+ !! The tortilla got a little more than torched and the “well done” part was rolled to the inside with all the filling; that smoked flavor permeated throughout but should have been more of the fire roasted pepper flavor than of burnt tortilla; minus one star but I would order it again. It was that delicious, otherwise. On the other hand, I tolerated the flavor because it reminded me of my Mom who, for whatever reason, loved the taste of well done/burnt tortillas and would seek them out of the stack, perhaps to sacrificially eat her own burnt offering at the meal. Thanks for the memory, Mom! Drive through service speedy, efficient.

Picture this: it's January 1st, 2024. You've just woken up at a friend's house after a roaring party, recovering from an alcohol and weed hangover the likes of which you have never known. You're in an unfamiliar part of town, don't know the local spots, don't know what will be open. You scroll around on Google Maps but you're too bleary to really get anything out of it, so you get in your car to start driving home. Then you see it. Salvation. The most open looking drive through you've ever seen in your life. Colored lights blink everywhere along the bright exterior, all around the sign that heralds "Drive Thru Open". You cruise in, and see something called a Monster burrito. When you get it, you receive something the size of a newborn human child. And it is glorious. This was my experience coming to Aliberto's. 10 out of 5 stars, I'll be keeping my eyes open for other locations for the rest of my life. Truly, you are doing God's work. Eat here. Please.

Worse experience ever, the food is terrible, the tortillas were cold and broken into pieces and kept falling apart while eating, the tortilla on taco salad was completely burnt and the bottom was full of a mix of water and beans (looked more like a taco soup), and the carne asada plate is just pieces of chopped meat same as used for street tacos and it was also a pool of water on the bottom, would give minus 5 or zero start if the option was available.

Amazing prices, delicious food. They go the extra mile to make great food with hefty portions at unbelievable prices. The rolled tacos are delicious, with generous topping of shredded cheese and guacamole. We love the little bags of fresh lime wedges at the salsa bar. We are vegetarian and we're very happy with the options. The vegan burrito is gigantic, and the vegan/vegetarian tacos are also good sized. The staff is attentive and cheerful, and they sing along with the Latin music on the radio, creating a casual but personal vibe. We went back a few days later and have added this to out list of favorite grub spots!
